That’s My Life! is a T-shirt quilt made for a family friend, Caroline, for her graduation from high school. It documents her middle and high school years, including shirts from field hockey (varsity captain!), swimming, basketball, softball, class plays, and other great memories. When Caroline saw the quilt for the first time, she exclaimed, “That’s my life!” An enthusiastic reaction does wonders for the quiltmakers, and we were thrilled that she loved it. This is the perfect design for those T-shirts with larger motifs. We made the quilt with eight vertical motifs and six horizontal motifs. You may need to vary the size and layout based on the number of shirts and the orientation of the motifs. There are many options using the diamond shape, since each diamond is made into a rectangular block. The blocks can be sewn together using any layout pleasing to you.
